One of the very first things that you need to do is to create a list and organize it, if you require some help to get the list straight then get into contact with the expecting moms parents. When the guest list is completed you will have an idea of how many guests will be attending. This helps you now how much drink, food, and favors for the party you need to have.

There is an endless number of games that can be played that are listed on the Internet. Many of the games can be played with household objects. When those games are played they tend to put everybody in the baby shower mood. My favourite game is to have the guests guess how many toilet paper squares the tummy of the mom to be is. The results will be surprising. Baby shower games are fun and everybody enjoys them, it helps break the ice and get all of the guests into a baby shower mode.

The main event at the baby shower will be when the mom to be gets to open the gifts for the new baby. Everybody will enjoy watching as it is very exciting seeing all the tiny little outfits and tiny little trinkets. The gifts help the mom to be a lot as the first few months of raising a baby can be expensive. If nobody knows of the baby’s sex yet then be sure to request to the guests to give gifts that are unisex, but if the sex of the baby is known them it makes everything so much easier. Another great idea is to get the mom to be to register at online stores and some retail stores. This can make life a lot easier for many guests.
